Hey
So as many of you now know that I am having an extremely difficult time trying to breed my bettas. I have tried several different pairs and combinations and they still won't breed. I am pretty sure the male is ready to breed because he builds a good bubblenest and then goes and follows her, etc. But each female I have tried is reluctant to get into the submission form to have him wrap around her. I have come close a couple times with them swimming next to each other closely under the nest, but then they just chase each other again. I was reading on a site that if you introduce them, then take them away, then introduce them again, that this works. I did try that and I did notice improvement after re-introducing them a little. It seems like they settled down and began swimming closer. But they still chase non stop. I know chasing is normal, but 2-3 days of non-stop chasing is just wrong. So, if I keep re-introducing them do you think this will help? Should I do it like every other day for like a week or something or will that be too much and they will hate each other.
