Sir Lefty's Oddly Placed Bubblenest.

I recently noticed that Sir Lefty has been making bubble nests under the filter outflow. I thought he hadn't been making any because it was in an area that I could hardly see. Here are a few pictures.

Ahaha that's so quirky, I love it! :D
I can almost imagine his thought process, picking the spot and for whatever reason determining that that spot was the best. ^^ Oh the determination!

It stays together, too. It's directly BEHIND the flow, not in it. So it oddly stays there, just rippling a bit.

That's so funny! I think Sir Lefty went to engineering school in his past life! Smart fellow! :D

Maybe its got less current than you think? My boys do that, but Ive realized that the outflow causes the water to come back (then out), but what's on top of the water (the nest) stays still.
These bettas, theyre engineers or something... ;3

It's still there. It will be gone next time I do a water change. I can't wait to see if he builds it there again!
