Oh my god! I like the terrium style, it's prolly a lot of upkeep though.

Why? I would think having the plants would make it LESS upkeep.

If I did the terrarium style, I'd prop want to buy turtles or something lol. So upkeep on them. But I was looking at the tank and it just looks hard to set up and have running, and then how about cleaning? And I'd still have to divide it somehow if I wanted more than one beta. There just seems like a lot to it.

It also looks like it's a lot to set up. Like the waterfall thing is cute, but where would I get on and how do I set that up, or all the stuff needed to fill the tank to make it nice? Where would the filter and heaters go? There's so many factors that go into it. I love the idea but I wouldn't know how to go about doing such things. Plus the link posted is prob a way bigger tank than a 20 gallon tank.

Yes it really comes down to how sturdy your dresser is

You're looking at 150 pounds (70kilo) of continuous weight load, I don't think the IKEA dresser can properly support the tank in the long term. I DO know that one of their dinner tables will hold it tho, I've got two tens and two fives on a two-leaf table.

Stands for twenties are available fairly cheap or you can garage sale for some hefty old furniture.

I just went ahead and bought the 10 gallon. It's all I need.
