eee! so cute!

so, i cleaned Caroline's 1.5 again, cause i had to re-arrange the plants around the filter that came with it. i'm giving the filter a shot, to see how she acts to it.

so, she's floating about in her cup, all excited cause she's back in her tank. then, the filter causes her cup to float about to it. and, she's looking at it. all... like... "oohh... what are you? *wiggle, wiggle* hi!". x3c i can't help myself! she's just so cute!

i'm really iffy about the filter. .____. i'm scared she'll get hurt, but i know she'll do a little better with it in. i put these short plants around the intake, but not directly on it, and she doesn't usually mess with them, so i'm hoping she'll continue to ignore them.

I just love girlies, they're so cute! Keep an eye out though, they seem to like getting themselves into ridiculous jams.

You can put clean hose (after rinsed in hot water) over where she almost got stuck. Idk how well that would go with a 3gal filter, but that's what I did with my 10gal filter so they wouldnt get stuck and so that large bits of plants wouldnt find themselves lodged in the propeller. The fish swim away in one piece if they get too close and find themselves meeting the hose...but plants just stick to it since, well, they can't swim away xD

she didn't like it too much, so i turned it off. o3o i'm gonna try again today, since i can watch her better, but she seemed almost...... annoyed at the current.

i adore my girlies. xD they seem to have cuter personalities than my boys.

Yeah, girls seem to be more sociable than guys. All five of my females swim into my hand when they get the chance to, but my male tries to stay away. There was a thread someone showed me about how to easily baffle the filter so it doesnt make a current. Give me a second to find it.
