New tanks :) Picture HEAVY!

finally after a week's worth of waiting i got the tank i've been wanting

Marineland LED 10 gallon kit, it came with
100b bio-wheel filter
Stealth Pro heater ( i think )
LED lights 6000k etc....

this is the box

here it is setup ( don't mind the background ) lol

With the LED daylights on & my newly bought Prime WC

LED nightlights ( probably going to take another pic
when it's dark so you guys can see it clearly )

At first i was planning to divide it, but then i stumbled
upon a very old 5 gallon tank we used to take care of
goldfishes. ( it was back when i was 12, i thought Goldfishes
were awesome back then lol ) i decided to clean it and see if i
would be able to use it.

here it is :

( disgusting huh? )

well i threw away the hood since it was broken and i literally cleaned
the rocks/gravel for 2 hrs straight but they were still turning the water blue.?
so i gave up and HAND washed the tank and here's the finale

big difference from what i found but i'm still a little afraid to use it yet

anyways that was about my whole day, hoped you enjoyed it

future plans is to get some Black Moonsand to decorate the 10 gallon
and if i actually decide use the 5 gallon, i'll go get a heater and filter
( maybe get a hood for that too )

What a great new tank and nice repurposing of an old one! Are you planning to stay with a very minimalist look in the 10G?

Abby: oh yea Acoustic's in there, i decided to put him in there since i had no where else for him. He's swimming happily so i'm guessing the tank is safe for now.

Canuck Fin: thanks :) And about your question, no i plan to put live plants in and start a cycle as soon as i save enough $$, but only after i get a heater
and filter for the 5 gallon.
