She's very attached to her mirror.

The only way I've found that makes Annabelle's stress stripes go away is to have mirror hanging in her tank constantly. She does get the faint vertical stripes, but her color also gets more vibrant and she stops clamping her fins. Since this seems to make her happier and more active, should I leave it in? It's the ONLY thing that makes her stress stripes go away. It doesn't bother her. It's not like she is flaring in the mirror constantly.

If it she isn't flare at it constantly I would think It would be fine. But take it out in a couple days and see what happens.

I took it out, and her stress stripes and clamping are back already. I think I'm going to leave it in.

I know, and she LOVES flaring at herself. She has the cutest little female beard. I should rename her "Annabeard". LOL

the clamped fins could be a sign of a disease and with her flaring she cant clamp her fins. her stress stripes are probably going away because she is trying to look stronger to what she thinks is another betta. thats at least what I think, Im no expert.

I just took it out again, and she seems happy as a clam. She was starting to clamp again while it was in, so I think she'd had a enough of it. I've decided not to leave it in there for extended periods of time.
