I'm with Denali on this one. I find the whole hobby to be stress-relieving. While cleaning Brooke's tank, I most definitely go into the Zone during the whole process. And it absolutely relaxes me - cleaning the tank and the decorations. And knowing that my pet is getting good care. I think only a fishkeeper could understand that caring for our fish is our pleasure...To the rest of the world (and my husband) it looks like alot of work!!

Thank you everyone for welcoming me. Look at your guys' avatars and photos, I see that you all have such pretty fish! My new betta Monet still seems to be doing well, and has been engaged in building a bubble nest lately. (I'm about to ruin it by cleaning his tank, lol.)

Those spawning photos were really neat!

And yes, I do find my self getting a little distracted by Monet when I'm working at times...but if it keeps my stress levels down, that's alright with me!

It seems that everyone finds their bettas relaxing. :)

Oh, my fishies definitely relax me. I have them right where I do my homework, where my compy is.
