You are correct! None of the eggs were in a nest. The male actually didnt build a nest until today.
I checked on them after church and he has actually built a bubble nest(very small one) in the corner of the tank. The female has actually laid more eggs in the bottom of the container that she is in. She also has some white stuff that she is passing.
I didnt want to have babies. I figured they would be lots of work. I just started homeschooling my middle schooler and I have a 5 year old. We have a puppy they got for Christmas. I dont think I could handle anything else right now. LOL We just wanted fish for pets. We had a Betta before but only one.
Not sure what is gonna happen but I am contacting the pet store tomorrow for sure.
