I have a recipe for home-style mac n cheese, it's so good, I've made it once before and my moms made it twice:

Ingredients:
1/2 pound of short pasta, cooked as per package directions
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/3 cup grated parmesan
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons Robin Hood All Purpose Flour
3 cups Carnation regular, 2%, or fat free evaporated milk
2 teaspoons salt
4 cups grated old cheddar, divided

Steps:
1. Combine breadcrumbs and parmesan in a small bowl. Reserve.
2. Preheat oven to 375F. Grease a 9 inch x 13 inch baking dish.
3. Melt butter in a medium saucepan, add flour, and cook over low heat, stirring for 1-2 minutes. Whisk in milk and salt. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and cook for 5 minutes. Add 3 cups of cheddar cheese, stirring until melted. Stir mixture into pasta. Pour into prepared dish.
4. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese, and cover with breadcrumb mixture.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.

hope you guys like it! [:

Oh I LOVE Mac and Cheese!

Here is an interesting recipe:

Dr. Pepper Cake Recipe

1 cup butter or margarine (butter is better)
1 cup Dr. Pepper soft drink
2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt
4 tablespoons cocoa
2 beaten eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Dr. Pepper Frosting-
1/2 cup Dr. Pepper soda pop
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
Melt butter. Add the Dr. Pepper soft drink and stir well. Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Add the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and marshmallows. Pour the Dr. Pepper mixture over the rest of the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Mix them together well. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in a greased 9x12 inch pan for 30-35 minutes.
Dr. Pepper Frosting Instructions- Heat Dr. Pepper soda pop, cocoa, and butter or margarine, but don't bring to a hard boil. Stir in rest of ingredients and mix together well. Spread Dr. Pepper frosting on while cake is still hot.
Variation: Use lemon extract instead of vanilla

Variation: Peanut Butter Frosting
6 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup milk
2/3 cup chopped, unsalted peanuts
While the cake is baking, cream the butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter together. Add the milk and mix well. Add the peanuts. Stir well. Spread over the cake while it is still warm. After cake is frosted, put it under the broiler on the top oven rack (about 4-5 inches from top). Broil for a few seconds only, just until frosting starts to get tiny air bubbles. Watch carefully so as not to burn cake. Let cake cool for about half an hour before eating.

I wonder if this will work with soy or coconut milk?
I will have to try it sometimes.

I make this pasta salad all the time!

Greek Pasta Salad
-Makes about 20 servings

Ingrediants;
- 1 package of spiral or thin tube noodles
- 1 bottle of greek and feta dressing
- 1 container or block of feta cheese, crumbeled
- 1 cucumber, washed and sliced
- 1 package of cherry tomatos, washed
- 1 red onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, washed and sliced
- 1 can of black olives, drained and diced if prefered

Cook pasta noodles, drain, and place in large dish or popcorn bowl.
Let noodles cool for 2-4 hours in the fridge, covered in plastic wrap.
Mix noodles with bottle of greek feta dressing. Add crumbeled feta, and mix gently. Add cucumber, tomatos, and green pepper. Add onions and olives to your prefered amount. Mix together gently.

Place in fridge for 12+ hours, covered with plastic wrap. You can eat right away if you don't mind the pasta being slightly warm. If you're making this for a family function, make sure the pasta is cooled. Make sure to eat all of this salad within 5 days.

*All veggies are optional, but without them, you might have a boring salad. You can also add any vegetables you think might taste good. It's very easy to get creative.

It's very yummy. When you want something salty, it has the right amount of salt, mixed with the sweetness from the tomatos. SO good.
