Bypass is sick!

Bypass has been looking really awful for some time now, and looking at him I noticed white fuzz ball's on his ventral's and two streak's of it...one on his chin and one on his right gill flap.

I think it's fungus or flex, whatever!

Food

was mostlypellet's and flake's, now I try to feed more meet product's like bloodworm's and brine shrimp
How often do you feed your betta fish?
once a day

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change?
twice a week
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 80%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? water conditioner

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed?
he's a bit paler, and he has tattered fin's
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? he act's normal
When did you start noticing the symptoms? last week
Have you started treating your fish? no
If so, how?

Does your fish have any history of being ill?
a bit, he has digestive problem's, like he had SBD twice in a row
How old is your fish (approximately)?
I had him for a month

Help!
My fish never get sick, so I need help to make BP better!!

Now the scales on the right side of his face are falling off, like there is a large open wound there...and he has big thick stress bar's!!
He look's thinner and his fin's are all raggedy and stuff, he's just pale.
Help!!
I'm gonna start treatment, all I have is salt and Betta fix.
Wich is better?

Okay, don't use the bettafix. What you might want to do instead is just give him some warm salted water (aquarium salt, temps should be at around 80*), and at this point, hope for the best. If you can get black water extract (Big Al's has it) or Indian Almond leaf it will help keep his stress down.

I don't think he's on his way out, if so it would so surprise me if I found him dead one morning...he still eat's and all...he's just thin and strippy *lol*

But thankx I'll do the salt, is salt dip's ok too or should I leave him in salt?

I think the medicinal dose for salt is one tablespoon per gallon, so if you just leave him in there and do frequent changes it should be okay. The salt is to prevent infection. For the fungus, Maracyn 1 and 2 should work.
