New boys! :D And a dal?

So today I went to Wal-mart, got me a 10g kit, some aquarium salt, some other meds, two decorations, and I looked at the betta fish.

I found three boys I love. Two crowntails and one veiltail. I looked at the VT, and felt a knife of sorrow when I saw over half his tail gone :( Its gone straight down the middle, and over 80% of the lower part of his tail. Made me sad. Then I noticed he had dots on his fins, the dal dots :O I then decided to get him!

then I looked at the crowntails, I couldn't choose between the two, so I got my mom to choose :) I told her since she picked him out, she had to name him, she's named him Sir Stardust.

Photos! These are when they were in they're cups. They are now in QT in two bowls while I treat them, they both have fins missing. I'm going to divide the 10 gallon and put them in and my other boy, Sunkist in :D

Update on them: They're both very active now, haven't eaten yet, but are swimming around happily. Still haven't got a name for the VT.

I think the VT's tail is just like that. Not all VT's tails end in a point, my and my bf's both end almost square. Welcome to the dal club XD
