I tried asking this question in its own thread originally but no one seemed willing/to have an answer.
In my icon you can kind of see it - my betta's ventral fin on one side is 'curled' up under him, almost like it's broken or hurt. I got him from the pet shop this way. It doesn't at all seem to get in the way of him swimming. His water is fine and he lives in a heated, filtered, planted 10g with a few zebra danios. He routinely makes bubble nests and flares at himself in the mirror just fine when he sees himself. :P
Is there any chance of his fin 'uncurling' or healing back to the way it should be? Or is this likely permanent?
