The VT who wants to be a DT

I believe my fish Robin has flared himself into a ripped fin! His fin is nearly ripped in half.....Is that possible? I don't have anything sharp in his tank...All live plants...

Pretty boy! He looks so much like my 'heart fish'. I miss that old guy. Your boy has weird ventrals... they're cute!

They can blow their tails when flaring which is what looks like happened. It should re-grow eventually.

I have always thought his ventral fins were odd looking too...pretty and cool...but none of my other bettas have ventral fins like that....

He looked so proud of his fin this morning!Haha. He blew the biggest bubble nest I have ever seen. Him and my middle boy are competing who can build the most extravagant bubble nest I think..

sounds alot like Cup, who dreams of being a Doubletail Crowntail. :d Cup's blown his fins by flaring so much, they rip so easy now. >.>;

Should I give him a little aquarium salt in QT. or just keep an eye on it?
I think he may have done this in his little cup before I got him as well...I thought it was finrot at the time though..His fins were sort of uneven with with a triangular area of regrowth.

Just keep an eye on it for now and keep his water clean.
