Never really got into Zen. Both in fishtanks and elsewhere. Never clicked. When I'm not using natural colors, I like dark colors, accented with contrasting items. My room decor (my interior designer friend calls it "Dark Industrial" which I like) is black furniture, dark, carpet, purple walls, black curtains, and everything else is glass or stainless steel. Dark colors calm me down quickly.

I like "Dark Industrial" as well, and I also like "Modern Country". Since they're Asian fish though, I like Asian themes. My betta tanks, once fully decorated, I'm going with black gravel/background, a bridge, and some kind of Asian figurine with plants. Kind of combining the dark/zen thing.
