Sorority Questions...

I am getting a sorority for my birthday in may and I was wanting any tips because I have a betta but I want to know about sororitys before I get one I want to know when it is a petty fight and when to seperate and such and I will be doing alot of reaserch before getting it.

remember atleast 4 no more then 6 for a sority , helps spreads out the agression... i have 4 girls now and so far no problems...

when u first introduce them there will be pecking and some chasing but that is establishing who is the dominate of the group...and everytime u remove them re-arrange tank and put them back they will re-establish that order...

remember atleast a 10g tank ...

I was thinking my femal snowflake and in a 200 or ten not sure yet and is like over 6 ok?

with female bettas, u dont want to go over 6, then things can get messy .. i dont know how people work sorities with 20g +


just remember females can be just as brutal if not more crazy then Male Bettas

Ya and how do know when the fight is needed to be broken up or not?

Not true. The more females the better, it helps spread out the aggression.

The bigger the area, the better chance a sorority has at getting along. Ten gallons is minimum, though 20 gallons would be better.

What size tank are you planning on putting the sorority in? I couldn't really understand if it was 200 or 10...

Oh I ment a 20gal. or a 10gal. not sure and I have one already not in the sorority tank but in a smaller tank but I am getting atleast 4 more so 5 in all or more most likley 5 more in a ten but most likley ina 20 I would get like 7 more so 8 in all but it depends.

I would get five at the very minimum, and I go for the 20 gallon. You will have a lot more success with the 20. 7-8 would be a great number. Just remember to plant it heavily.

Edit: Yes you can four, not five, I forgot you already had a little girlie lol :)

Ya I have a 20gal. but it is my qt so maby I will get a 10 and it would be qt but IDK
