Smile update on my new crowntail

For anyone who didn't see my previous post, I went to walmart on thursday and walked by the fish and saw a pretty little crowntail in a cup of filthy water. Even though I didn't have another tank to put him in, I bought him anyway and named him Haiku. So I've had him for 3 days and he seems to be doing very well. I've been keeping him in one of those betta tanks just for the time being. He will have his 2.5 gallon tank shortly. I haven't seen any signs of fin rot, but I'm still gonna keep an eye on him. He's been eating and he definitely recognizes me whenever I walk into the room. I held a mirror up to his tank to get him to flare and that's when I really saw how gorgeous his coloring is. He's almost a teal color and when he flared his fins, I could see some yellow in there. Anywho, he's doing very good so far and hopefully he'll be just fine. I think he will be.
