Photography tips??

how do you take photos to make your bettas look the best? what kind of camera/ camera phone settings are you using? Anybody editing there photos on the computer afterwards?

Good lighting I think is the most important! I also find that using manual focus is much easier than relying on the camera to focus on the fish in time or on something else. Taking photographs at night, with one light source over the tank makes for great contrast and prevents glare.

If your camera has a Macro(flower) setting use it. It's great for detail and close ups.

It's more important that you the photographer know how and when to take it then what kind of camera you have.
Depending on the lighting, using the flash on your camera works, but other times it does not, it can leave a glare.
Put your betta in a tank that has natural light coming in, that helps!
Focus on your betta, and check to see if the picture has any distractions.
If you look at the photo and your eyes follow to the background or something else in the photo then your betta, that may be a problem.
I have a DSLR camera, and using the speed button helps me get an unblurred shot. The macro helps too!
Oh, and thinking about what you want to take first helps. Watch your betta to see his next movements to try and get the picture taken in time.
