@SillyCone: I am with you behind that statement 100%. I'm fully aware of the "breakdown" of people who go on youtube, lmao. I personally never leave any comments other than your example.
However, as Arashi pointed out, a lot of newbie fish keepers actually seek advice from these people. A lot of them are dead serious in their videos about how they care for their pets. I see: "How do you train them to fight? Mine just lies there and does nothing" or "Is it OK to put a betta in a jar? My friend said that it needs a proper tank but I don't want to get one for 1 fish lol"
Also, I posted an article I'm going to publish in the "Betta Chat" section. This isn't just on youtube, it is virtually on every publicly available "posting" type website. People post photos of a betta fish in a tupperware box and all people can see is: "OOOH PRETTY COLOURS".
Although I enjoy trolling, I only troll in online games. When it comes to this kind of thing, I prefer to... passively educate, haha. I don't like to push ideas onto people. I present them, and they choose whether to accept or not.
