Females making bubbles nests...?

Okay so, I recently finished setting up my planted 10 gallon sorority with 5 girls. I'm 99.9% sure they are all females. They all have female-ish short fins, all have the ovipositor white dot right behind their short ventrals. What's more, none of them fight at all. In fact, they school at times and peacefully nibble my finger altogether when it's feeding time.

The first day I saw a small quarter sized bubble nest above one of the cabomba in the tank. I messed it up to see if it would return.

The second day, the bubble nest is twice the size. I mess it up again... because i'm mean like that.

Today I came home from one of my pet sitting jobs (I LOVE MY JOOOB!) and the LPS (got some more plants for their tank) and find it's grown yet again.

So I'm just kinda rubbing my head here. Like I said, I'm pretty sure they're all fo-sho womenz. Several of them are sporting some striking breeding bars... perhaps they're just 'getting ready'? :P

I've heard of females making bubble nests before. Mine makes little tiny ones from time to time. :)

Caroline makes them, right before she lets out her eggies. :3 it's cute, cause she tends to it so well. she even puts a few eggs in it, and tends to it all gentle-like.

then she gets hungry. >w>

yep. :d i've heard some females do that, to get rid of them. some re-absorb them, and some lay them. :d she eats all the ones she can catch, and digs about for the ones that she misses, and she puts some in the nest. :3

btw, the pug in your pic is so cute! xD
