Okay so, I recently finished setting up my planted 10 gallon sorority with 5 girls. I'm 99.9% sure they are all females. They all have female-ish short fins, all have the ovipositor white dot right behind their short ventrals. What's more, none of them fight at all. In fact, they school at times and peacefully nibble my finger altogether when it's feeding time.
The first day I saw a small quarter sized bubble nest above one of the cabomba in the tank. I messed it up to see if it would return.
The second day, the bubble nest is twice the size. I mess it up again... because i'm mean like that.
Today I came home from one of my pet sitting jobs (I LOVE MY JOOOB!) and the LPS (got some more plants for their tank) and find it's grown yet again.
So I'm just kinda rubbing my head here. Like I said, I'm pretty sure they're all fo-sho womenz. Several of them are sporting some striking breeding bars... perhaps they're just 'getting ready'? :P
