I have some questions about some of the descriptions I see on Aquabid. What are: salamander, devil, and platinum? And what are black melano and black lace (differences between them)?

Dragon refers to thick scales, not a tail type. Your fish is definitely a crowntail, and it doesn't look like he has dragon scales.

Does she have a spade tail?
Or is this typical with veil tails?

I really love Spade bettas but the only ones I can find have "citrusy" (is that even a word? lol) colors like red or orange while I prefer blue bettas. Is there a correlation or just bad luck?
