Hello, by the way! I've collected three bettas over the past year, and have recently acquired one fat little african dwarf frogette (Genki, which i'm told is Japanese for "wired on Red Bull ain't the half of it") from a friend who has had to relocate due to work obligations.
i know i have one veil (Zen, who sulks because, well gee i swear i fed him last year!) and two crowns (King Louie, red with blue, and Elvis, who used to be a bluish white.. but now looks like he's rolled in a child's finger paint collection and has a *ahem* bit of a gut). Elvis won't hold still long enough for me to get a decent shot of him, so this is one of his juvenile pics. his tail has become much more of a flamboyant affair (my mother thinks i should rename him Liberace)
I began feeding them all the nice color enhancing brand of betta pellets.. would that explain why Elvis suddenly changed from pale blue-white to his current coloring? Even the PetSmart "experts" were gobsmacked when i presented them with before and after pictures..
