Exclamation Goo Gone problem :(

So I had a problem with a temperature sticker on my 5 gallon. It was ripped through one side so I decided to try to tear it off. When that didn't work I used some goo gone, but it's clouded the ENTIRE outside. :(
Any ideas on how to get rid of goo gone?

P.S. This is all on the outside. Nothing on the inside, though after I get the goo gone off I'll be doing some heaving cleaning on this tank. Aesthetically it is my favorite tank, so I'd really love to save it.

P.S.S. okay so ENTIRE is an exaggeration. It's just a corner. But after paying almost 30 bucks for this tank I really want to be able to enjoy looking through it....

Is this a glass or acrylic tank? I had the same thing happen on my acrylic tank..Those outside temp. stickers are a real pain to remove!..The only thing that worked for me was rubbing alcohol and alot of elbow grease. If it is a glass tank you may be able to rub it with a little alcohol and use the razor to lightly scrape it off.

So did some quick research and goo gone is an oil based product. So your best bet to clean it off is rubbing alcohol or a degreasing product like Simple Green.
