Hi! I bought a new betta about a month ago. He currently resides in a 2.0 gallon glass tank. For about 4 days after I bought him, he refused to eat anything. I tried 3 different types of betta food, both in pellet and flake forms, and he still would not eat. Finally, my roommate dropped a bit of tortilla in his tank, and he ate that. He will only eat every few days and his preferred diet consists entirely of tortillas supplemented with the occasional piece of cornflake. He is very active, has beautiful color, and seems to behave as normal as any other betta fish I've ever owned. I am at a loss of what do do here- how healthy can this diet be? Bettas need protein, right? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
