Help. He's bloated.

Akira got his nightly feeding and because I had hand cream on I asked my mom to help me feed them. Kai got his perfect amount...

Akira got a little too much. He's got a bit of a belly now. I don't want to fast him because he literally goes insane and stresses himself out. I heard adding some epsom salt clears a betta's system more. I recall reading that Pewpewpew had done that with one of her betta's.

My questions are.....

How much to add for a 1.5/2 gallon tank? A half teaspoon like with AQ salt?

Should I get him to flare instead and leave the mirror there so he can make a fool of himself and go that way? I had Kai flare when he got a little bloated and he pooped he was so flustered...

I'm gonna try flaring first as I'm worried about him. Please reply fast.

If he bloated up after eating too much, just give him a day, I'm sure it will pass with soon enough. Sometimes those things just happen, kind of like a person eating an enormous dinner then feeling like they are going to explode. :P Most likely within a couple hours to a day he'll be back to normal. If he's still bloated after 24hrs, then we'll take further measures. But for now, just relax and let him digest his big meal. :)

Well I left him alone for awhile and got him to flare for me recalling that Kai ahem got over his constipation after a good few minutes going at it with the mirror. Did it with Akira and his bloat is totally gone now! I'm letting them both relax now. He's flaring at me right now actually.
