What breed of pooch is Gunther? He looks like the perfect fit for what I want to get in a couple years when I move into a bigger place. :V

He's a chow mix. We got him from the shelter when he was a puppy. He does a lot of shedding and he gets hot easily, but he loves the snow.

All these dogs are adorable! <3

Ok first one is my baby she was about 10 weeks old in this pic, sleeping on all my pc plugs (she ate 2 headsets, 4 cables and various other things but no shoes :P)

This is the baba grownup - she is now almost 4 years old her name is Vikki btw. She is a pure bred german shepard (my all time fav dogs) All our german shepards are pure bred - I grew up with them :P

The last one is our boy Keegan, he is about 7 years old. Hes a weird one, tail chasing to the extent that we had to have a part of his tail amputated (my parents got him when he was 6 months old - he was abused) This is his chair and his favorite sleeping position - he doesnt do much that is normal

They're both beautiful! I love German Shepards. But he was that bad a tail chaser? I've seen that on It's Me or the Dog. Poor guy.

He still does it, at loud noises, when we go out and leave them at home, any thing can trigger him. Its been a nightmare but we love him cos when he isnt chasing his tail he is cuddling with us. Vikki isnt a cuddler, almost made her a show dog, but an unfortunate accident and her slightly hyper temperament made it a bad idea. She was bitten at puppy training (she went for 2 years of training and still cant heel properly :P) on her ear which tore it a little and the vet and i decided its not worth her getting stitches and suffering more trauma. So the torn ear is minor you cant really see it, but it is an automatic disqualification.

We also decided we wont be breeding with her. Altho I want to go live on a small holding one day and breed german shepards and have rooms filled with betta's.

I do have to admit I prefer my dogs to kids :P

Aw, the poor thing. I prefer my Foo Lala to kids too. :D She's totally potty trained (100%) and she does what I say (75% of the time. She IS a basset after all. The stubborn nature is not just a rumor :D)!

Hehe sounds like my Vikki, stubborn is not the right word for her. She is very set in her ways and her routines and HATES it if we break routine for anything. She sulks if we dare break it :P
