I agree ...Unfortunately there are a lot of full grown adults with lack of discipline, respect and etiquette...
I had some lady try to run into me with her shopping cart just yesterday...
There was this narrow row in between two long racks of jeans..And I just happened to be walking by and noticed a pair that looked neat so I walked a little in the row to look at them...This lady with her cart looked at me..rolled her eyes..and with a smug face nudged her cart in my direction...I had to move out of the way......I was thinking seriously lady? there are like 10 pairs of the same jeans...Is it really worth hitting someone with your cart over?

I would have just stayed there until she either asked me politely to move or went around

People do that in the supermarket too. I think they're drunk with cart power! :P

Then there are people who block the aisle at the grocery store with their cart while they take like 10 minutes to pick out a box of cereal.

vaygirl,

"cart power" - lol!

There are bonkers people all over the place. Some of them are pretty scary!

Going back a few posts... to that guy who taped his boy's mouth shut...
That was extreme... hanging on the fringy edge of abuse. All the father is showing is that he has limited abilities to deal with his child. When you see things like that, you're looking at a family in crisis - headed down the road to destruction.

Unfortunately, very few of parents who are in crisis actually reach out for help. And the child usually pays

I think the fact she tried to run you down kind of makes it obvious that she is indeed a jerk ;)
I don't understand how people decide that trying to smack someone with a cart is a better option than simply saying "excuse me, could you please move?"

Cart power! It's true! I won't get out of anyone's way now. I've had very pushy ladies coming at me and I just know they're trying to nudge me. They get all crazy behind the wheel of a cart. You can see it in their eyes. Cart devil!!

One lady looked right at me and then left her cart in the supermarket doorway while she got a wipe out of the bin to clean the handle. I had to push her cart to the side to get by. And then she glared at me. I wasn't gonna just stand there waiting behind her while she cleaned her cart handle. She could have pulled to the side instead of stopping right in the sliding doorway. I was kinda hoping it would shut and her cart would get stuck. Darn those safety mechanisms!!!

Tapping people with carts isn't all bad. It's a great way to open a conversation with a hot guy:

*gently taps hot guy in his rear with cart*

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Are you alright? I was distracted by the sale on the peas...."

Very effective, especially if you're looking your best and not shy. Chat it up from there, lol! ;)
