That's probably the key, is to give pieces that are practically microscopic. Again, if you feel comfortable with it, then it's your call. I hope it works.

I hope he's better soon. :( I lost my first fish to a really bad case of bloat. I tried everything, the salt, daphnia, I might have even tried to get him to eat part of a pea (can't remember if he ate it or not) but just nothing worked...

Cup gobbled the teeny piece up. x: then again, he's probably REALLY hungry. ;A; i feel so bad, not feeding him, but i didn't want the bloat to get worse by feeding him. his tank's bare bottomed, so i'll know if he poops or not. x:

I just really hope it's something curable. I hope it's not old age kicking in. I'll keep my fingers crossed that he poops or does something that gets him back to size.

>3< he's not looking good today. i put a new baggie over his water, since he's gone floaty(pretty normal after water changes, but something i worry about since he's already super bloated). poor boy looks miserable. Dx i'm crossing my fingers that he'll poop tonight.

Me too. And my toes. And I'll braid my hair too so that's crossed. Never thought I'd be rooting so hard for a fish to poop but here goes: "Go Cup Go! Literally! Go to the bathroom!"

gah, i hate it when one of my bettas gets sick. D: i feel so bad.... i think i'm gonna stop checking in on him every half-hour, and let him relax. maybe i'll cover his tank, so he's not bugged by all the light..

I'm afraid that's about all you can do right now is just let him relax. :( I hope he recovers quickly.
