Pfft for being as oddly popular as Drax is I'd thought you'd all clammer to help him... >_>

It's so odd! I mean... Finrot is normally like a burn looking deterioration with black edges. This is more milky... and... almost drippy looking. Like he's been soaking too long and his tail is oozing apart.

Well as told I did a 50% water change and gave him some Epsom salt.

He seems fine... even if when I checked on him after turning the lights out (Well putting his tank into 'Night' mode) he did seem AWFULLY skiddish. Like he touched a plant and BAM he was on the other side of the tank

.... I'm just *Gets attacked by moth* AH HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE!

OH FINE!

... Tank Size: 10gal
Temp: 78
Water Par.
Ni: Fine
Na: Fine
Am: Fine
Ph: Slightly high but in normal ranges

Water changes: Every few days I do alittle tank cleaning an changing a gallon or two. (>.> The plants keep dying so I HAVE to keep cleaning).

Food: Betta Pellets, Sometimes I give him a treat of a FD bloodworm or 2... >.> or 4 if he's being cute enough.

Time: Just noticed earlier yesterday.

Symptoms... I dunno! I'm a creative Writer not a miracle writer! The edges of his bottom fins seem kinda clumped and part of one is sorta... oozing off and a piece of it is hanging by ... seriously less than a thread. Kinda... a white... well clearish gook at the edges. You can't even see it unless he's turned the right way. Took my mom (Sorta his part owner) several minutes to notice.

I'll try to take better pics today... he's in his cave right now. Eh he seems to like hovering in there for alittle while now and then.

Should I be worried about Drax suddenly like... spazzing every few seconds... as if something touched him (When nothing touched him) and doing ALOT of mouth opening... not YAWNING but just ... as if he's mumbling.

Maybe he is mumbling? :)

A good picture of the fin situation would really help. I have a sneaking suspicion as to what it might be, but I'd like to see a picture.

Hopefully, someone with experience in male fin issues will 'pop in' and give a second opinion...

How old is he? I can't see it in the pics, so whenever you get new ones I'll try again :)
