I used my mother's poodle in a Pavlov's dog-type of experiement in high school... no poodles were harmed in the experiment, however. :)

I had to dissect a frog in high school... I was so angry... frogs are some of my favorite animals... but I couldn't figure out how to get out of it and not get an 'F'... and I was a straight A student.

I should have thrown up on the teacher.
