I have not seen the elite mini at Petco or Petsmart myself but I bought them through Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Hagen-Mini-Sub...8535359&sr=8-1

I also found one at a local fish store.

You are more than welcome!

I don't know since I do almost all my pet shopping on-line. I live in a VERY rural community so it is a major production to go the the closest pet stores.

THANK YOU!!! Sadly, that fish (Prince) has since passed, but the tank is still terrific - different now, but terrific.

I wouldn't. A LOT of sponges today have anti-bacterial agents in them & those are deadly to fish.

^ Agreed! If you cant find AQ sponge, some people choose to use an aquarium /algae scrubber. Or fake plants, Ive had to do that because AQ sponge simply does not exist anywhere nearby, and it worked well enough until the filter began to slow :D
