I love my HM to bits but I'm also always worried about his fins. Pretty much, I go for color regardless of finnage. That said, I've always been afraid to get a CT because I'm afraid I wouldn't know if he had fin splittage or not.

By the way, I put a divider in my 10g temporarily and stuck one of my girls on one side with Anderson on the other. It's a clear divider, though. Is it going to harm them any being able to see each other? At least it keeps Anderson from flaring at himself all day.

I didn't used to think much of plakats, then this site and seeing some of the amazing colors they get. guess it's not too surprising I had to get one, lol

all 3 of my HM's are having fin issues right now >_< Robin has had some persistent problems since I got him, Nalin had a bit from the store that I thought had been getting better then flared up in a few patches all of a sudden, and I thought maybe Icarus was biting, but then the edges started turning red so I'm not sure if it was fin rot from the start, or he did bite and it gave the fin rot a way in. *sigh*

know some people suggest that opposite sex hormones in the water can cause problems, but others have had males and females in divided tanks with no issues, so yeah, lol

oh i plan to be must of just been the edge of the hail and now plan to stay home and get some stuff done. if i know we were going to have some crazy weather today i would not of gone out.

Okay, good to know. Right now Anderson's way more interested in flaring at his reflection than at Goldi anyway. She's got some stress stripes but I assume they'll go away after a while. Maybe I'll rearrange the plants so they block the view.

Totally not fish related but I had to post it anyway. I just brushed one of my cats, a shorthair. I'm so surprised she's not bald now but even after all that she's STILL shedding!

yep that time of year where you can get enough fur off you pets to make them a jacket for the winter =P Rocky is going through the same thing but no clue where the brush went.
