some poeple have success getting male and female together but it is extremely rare to have them together.. only while breeding do u normally see them together..... The normally willl fight unless they are breeding..

If either one of them is not ready or receptive to breeding this can happen. I would seperate them and try again in a few days. Maybe a longer period of "get to know each other" might help.

Did the male build the nest before you released the female into the tank?

i need help 1 mintute my betas were cuddling and then the male attacked her and i am so confuse and i no they do not have eggs
