I think white sand has a clean look to it. So I would go for it. And Luckkkyy your getting a 20 gal!! Psh. I'm upgrading to a 5 gal. Pathetic I know.

just remember, with white sand, you'll be able to see pretty much EVERYTHING on it, lol

You can get a 50lb bag from Lowes for 2.98. lol that's ridiculous, just regular orangish-tan play sand. I have white sand in my tanks currently annnnd I hate it, you can see TOO-much.

I would go for a more naural look like this...



white stuff never stays white :P but this color looks really awesome and it gets a little bit darker underwater (: or you can try black sand.
