Unhappy What is up with Sparrow's head?

While feeding Sparrow today, I noticed that he had something wrong with his head! It looks like he cut it or something, but then it looks like some of it might have healed over! I'm wondering if he had a run in with his snail since last night.

What would be the best treatment for this? Aquarium salt?

Here's the pics...

Could it be 'hole in the head' disease? Hopefully not!

I don't think it's hole-in-the-head disease. Fortuately bettas don't seem to get that very often and plus, the hole is all white. I think Sparrow may have rubbed his head against a decoration and knocked a few scales off. Keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, put him in QT with some aquarium salt. 1 tsp per gallon.
