One STRANGE dude!!!

I have a betta named Paleface that has changed SO much I can't believe it & thought you guys might be interested. I know he is healthy since he is active and eats like a little pig, but WOW!!!

The first pic is his listing photo. The second is from 4/21/11, the third from 6/30/11 and the last two are from today.

ENJOY!

Wow!! That's amazing! But he sure is a pretty boy. Paleface is a great name. In his first pic he looks like a piece of Inidan corn. Now he looks like a piece of ice, sitting on top of a rocky moutain lake with the ice blue water running underneathe. Either way, Paleface is perfect. Beautiful!!

I read somewhere (a loooong time ago), that there's a certain type of betta that some people breed specifically because they are extremely prone to color changes. I'll see if I can find the book/site for you..

Thanks, all!

He IS a pretty special boy and is constantly surprising me. I have never before had a betta with the "marbling" gene, but looks like I do now! :) Sure, I have had SOME color change from juvenile to adult, but never before anything like THIS.

I think my betta Voldemort has that :/ first he was just kind of a weird pale color for his body, and his fins were a yellowish color with the "moldy" look to them lmao. Now, his fins have gotten blue streaks, are more green, then the day after his fins went more yellow, with black streaks instead of blue D: bettas are definitely strange... lol
