Yeah...sometimes I think I see the beginning of dragon scales on him, but he moves so quick, and he seems a bit afraid of me (until I feed him ) and startles so easy that I only get a glimpse.

When ever I breed, usually a month or so the traits and scale color start to mature :) Makes sense since I always get my bettas when they are 3 months old and vibrant. Hope this helps. He is still really cute! :P Hmmmm I think he might just stay white, however, maybe hes a really "late bloomer." That would be sweeet if you got an albino.

Heres a thought...if he does get dragon scales and he is albino, they might be a pale pearly white, slightly lighter than his other scales.

Sometimes I wonder if he doesn't already have them, and sometimes I think he is developing them because the tips of his scales seem paler than the rest of his scales. Depends on how the light's hitting him.

Gah! It's just so hard to tell!!!!

He's a real cute little critter, though!

You can kinda see what I mean about the tips of his scales in the first pic showing the size difference between him and Arthur.
