Female Color Question

So, I am a little disappointed in myself. I went female betta shopping today, and they had got several new crowntails in at Petco. Well they had a nice blue one and a nice green one. I decided to go with a little pale one, thinking it was some hard to find color like yellow, which I now find out its not!

So, help deciding what color she is? Her body is a light yellowish tan with dark brown stripes with a purple sheen to them, fins are a pale red on the outside, a little purple more on in the inside? Thanks for the help.

If you just got her, it could be a few days before you get to know what color she is. Her body is all stress-striped right now so no telling what her body color is. And bettas change colors like chameleons. She could be one color in natural light, a different color in incandescent light etc. And sometimes they turn out to be the complete opposite color of what you think they'll be. I brought home a beautiful baby blue girl who turned red overnight.
My girl was the same color as my male's tail when I brought her home. (sorry, I forgot to take a pic of her right when I got her)

And now she's this.

In other words, you just never know what you're getting. I definitely suggest taking pics and keeping track of your girl's "metamorphosis."

Thanks. She was sure pretty as a blue girl, too. Hehehe. But this is the fun of bettas. You just never know what you'll get.
