should i be concerned?

so, i got flame new gems today, they are black i let them soak and everything well i stuck them in, well in the process of this i stirred old food up and i saw him with a pellet in his mouth for a little bit. well hours have past and i noticed him kinda breathing a little fast, just kinda jolting around the tank too. but it really freaked me out when he opened his mouth towards me like he had to throw up.

do you think he may just be constipated or have an upset stomach? or what? i tried to stick a blanket drapped on the back because he refuses to let any backgrounds up without flaring anymore. well he was flaring at my blanket. and i then had a mirror and he flarred at that.

what should i do? any thoughts? i'm just kinda paranoid because idk what to do and my boyfriend isn't home to comfort me or anything. he's in cali for another 9days.

please help

How big is the tank, how much and how often are the water changes and when was the last one, water temp, filter, live plants, additives used, tank mates, appetite......

This doesn't help much......but this is most likely the problem....."water quality".......

sometimes i do half and other times i do like a 20%.
but okay. i'm not concerned anymore. he seems fine.
