So I have wormies in my tank, sigh.
I dont think theyre harmful (at all), but would be curious to know what they are.
Very small, less than a mm, really.
White in tank, brownish white when removed and put on a white surface
Edible, as per my fish eating them when seen
Nimble, they swim in a jerking motion
Swim free but usually on the glass
There are more when the gravel/plants are disturbed
Thinner than a hair
I dont think theyre nematodes or anything... Im looking for another kind of worm I found the name of a while ago, I cant remember..
Latley, after a big plant die-off courtesy of my mother (who let the tank, fish and all, get above 100-110'F :/ ), I have more mulm and cruds in the tank than ever before.
Ive been upping my siphonings, but I cant do a huge one because I dont want to upset my cycle, though would do it if need be.
My tank is 5 gallons, divided for the moment, cycled, filtered (though severely plugged up/baffled) and heavily planted in a gravel substrate with root tabs and ferts. I also have a snail, who is looking a little under the weather. :C
Cant see eyes, legs, anything. Just small little wormies.
