Yes, a single Angel in that size of a tank would do well with some larger peaceful community fish. I wouldn't do Mollies, that's like keeping Bettas with Goldfish. Mollies are brackish fish, they like a little salt in their water. They can live in fresh water but they are not thriving, just surviving. You would be better with bottom dwelling fish, as Angels are Cichlids and very territorial, so a fish that's not in their space would be better. Google it though.

Tetras, Rainbow Fish, Rams, Swordtails, Danios, Rasboras, Platy, Loaches, Cory, Barbs, Kirbs are all nice fish.

Look at these....

Bolivian Rams, a Dwarf Cichlid. They go good with Angels.

mkay, sounds pretty easy.

My mom had an angel fish in with our pleco and our Big Mamma Oscar fish when we lived in a different place.

Oh! and before I forget, what about Gourami? Could I put them with angel fish or a betta?

Personally, I wouldn't put them in with a Betta. They are the same breed of fish, depending on the Gouramis and Bettas personality though.

While Angels and Gouramis can sometimes get along as well, they also might fight. If the behavior continues, you may have to return one of them, especially if there is a size difference between them. It is unlikely that it will work out. Doing this fish stuff by the books sucks doesn't it? lol

Alright, I was just wondering cause I really like them and I was going to show her them when she got out of bed.

Yeah, stuff by the books is almost never fun! lol!
The tank she wants is a 5 gallon, but I wanted to get her something bigger so she could have a nice community tank... I'd have to get a 20 gallon er something like that though.

This is the fish tank my mom wants : Click

Ya know.. my local pet store puts shrimp in those tanks lol Wouldn't be good for anything but a school of neon tetras or guppies sadly! Or a Betta fish but then you'd have to mod the crud out of it to make it safe. You could get a 20g set up for the price of them :)

>3< beautiful tank, but for that price, you could get a larger tank. *cheapo*

for a five, you really can't get much. many of the fish they show in those tanks, actually need schools of 6+ and tank sizes of 10+. in that tank, you could have like.... a betta, and a snail. x:

Yeah, I told my mom that angelfish might be out of the question till our oscar fish in the 75 dies...lol!

But I told her guppies would look really nice in it. like a guppy or a catfish.

We need a new hood for our 75 gallon. We only have 3 fish in it. an oscar and 2 plecos... not a very exciting tank... I wanna get a bala shark... but they wouldn't really work.

I just want to get her a nice little tank with some really colorful fish in it.
It would be a Christmas present... I might get it a little earlier if we could pick out for for a 10 gallon.
