No more snails for me...

I brought all my apple snails back to the pet store today. I love apple snails, but they were stressing out my fish, or they were getting bullied by the fish. Plus, it's so hard to tell when they die. Another one died on me today, so I had to do a 100% water change.

I really only needed the snails for two of the tanks in which I can't seem to control the algae. So I went to the petstore and bought some ghost shrimp.

My female Cassia's getting the one I named Green Brain (for obvious reasons) and the one I named Float is going in with Root Beer. Hopefully I can take good care of the little guys and they don't get eaten. I did get the biggest ones I could get, though.

Does anyone have any tips for me on taking care of Ghost Shrimp?

Do you have alot of hiding spots for the Shrimp. Some Bettas like to make snacks of them.

I got the biggest I could find...they're actually almost as big as the betta's body.

Just make sure to have plenty of hiding spots for them. I don't think size will stop a Betta from attacking them.
