I did have to chuckle when someone said "Indian Almost Leaf" instead of Indian Almond Leaf. lol But I didn't make fun of them on the open forum.

That's true, something like grammar can't be helped sometimes but spellings sure can be.. Btw no offence, but a lot of US people can't/ refuse to spell -__-

People still type BETTA'S when they are talking about more than one betta. Betta's shows possession, like My betta's tank. If you have more than one betta then it's BETTAS..

Yeah, but I can at least read what you're writing. We had a person a while back who I couldn't even understand.

Omg, bettalover, thats not something to be proud of XD

I dont mind spelling, but when I cant understand, its hard to deal with.

I have seen a newer member constantly correcting other's spelling, even when minor... If it doesnt completely hinder a post, whatever. It doesnt need to be corrected, thats trollololololing.

If you're typing lk ths and i cnt rd anythn and I ask please please please to try harder for me and you tell me no, dont expect me to come back.

I cant read what I cant read, yo.

I hope this doesn't come off as rude (because I definitely don't mean it that way), but said people should really either TRY or shape up. If you're going to be lazy NOW about your spelling/grammar, you're just going to forget it in the future, and make yourself look like an uneducated fool.

EDIT: I generally check to see a person's age (if it is listed) on their profile, before responding to them, so I can reply in an appropriate manner. I find it...upsetting when the person I'm talking to is in their mid 20s/30s and type like they're 16 years old.

There's a difference between Indian Almost Leaf and "consittering". It irks me when Americans don't check their spelling... because the rest of the world doesn't think we're already dumb right???

Mistakes happen.. but when you flat out don't even try.. that's an injustice to the English language altogether (non-English speakers exempted of course).

There was someone on my dog forum who in the first sentence of an enormously stupid post said "dont bother correcting my spelling or grammar because I don't care"... barf.
