I'm Back..

to report that my white betta fish has died for NO reason.. Ive had him 5-6 months and I came home and he was dead.. Hes been eating and swimming around normally and he was dead in the water and his fins were like all falling off.. idk.. I'm so sad.. I did an emergency water change in my other fish tanks.. just to make me feel better so no one else dies.. tho they aren't connected. idk I'm just upset.. I didn't do anything wrong..

should I clean out the tank really well before I get anew fish? I read online while searching if fish can really die for no reason, that you can still put a fish in the cycled water tho one died. But I have a gut feeling thats a bad idea..

Thanks

Sorry to hear about your fish :( If it were me, I'd clean the tank thoroughly since you don't know what killed him.

Better safe than sorry.
