This can't be normal...

It may be kind of hard to see in the video but my Betta Patriot is breathing with his gills? This is my 3rd betta and I've never seen any of them do this before. I just got him a few days ago and he has been doing it since I got him. Is something wrong? Or is he just a strange fish? He does it all the time. Not just once in a while. The tank he is in has been running for a few months, fully cycled, I just checked everything, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, everything. They're all perfect. I put water conditioner in and everything. It just seems strange to me. I hope my new little guy is alright. The link to the video of him is below.

...seriously? No one has any kind of idea why he's doing this? If he should or shouldn't be? ANYTHING?! If my fish is sick or something I want to get him help! I just got him but I already love him! If I didn't I wouldn't have gotten him. Please tell me why he's doing this.

The video isnt very good, but mot betta's that I know of use their gills, they suck in water through their mouth expel from their lungs, its completely normal, however, if he is breathing heavier, this may be due to the new enviroment

Oh my gosh. Thank you. So this isn't really anything to be concerned about? I've seen bettas "gasp" but he isn't doing that. It's the weirdest thing though.
