Well, combined, my sister and I have:
Tokyo, Oak, Elm, Sicamore, Frog, Ping, Hester, Lyra
Courage, Pants, Yorick, Mirage, Starscream, Ratchet, Moonshoes
4 adult mollies, about 21 molly fry, and then 1 rubbermouth pleco.

I own Ratchet, Mirage, Moonshoes, and Starscream. Hopefully no more for now. I've got the ability to say no still. My sister doesn't, so I have to go with her if she's going out to the Lake Havasu Mall since that's where all the fishies are.

That's a lot of fish combined. Good luck keeping your sister under control.

Hasn't worked so far, but we lost one today to drowning. She got caught in one of the plants probably last night after we left and I didn't find her until late this afternoon when I was doing a water change on Starscream's cup. We're trying to reintroduce Hester into the sorority since Lyra's too much of a bully. Frog may or may not go back in depending on how fast she gets better and the mentality of the sorority.

Well, now that we're way off topic, time to get back to the topic. Made one last check and everyone looks alright, so I'm going to go to bed and hopefully not wake up to any sickies or dead babies. I don't think I will, but the option is still open. I'll update on them when I wake up.

I don't think you will, I think your boys just needed some time to adjust. But I'll keep my fingers crossed for you just in case. Good night!

Everyone is absolutely fine, if not positively grumpy. Moonshoes is having another bad day because he's flaring much more than usual. He's usually the one that just looks at the others before ignoring them completely. Ratchet's being a drama queen again and acting like he's sick so I'll come over and feed him (He hates fasting days and does this regularly whenever he feels he's not fed enough). And Yorick is back to his usual self.

On the plus side, it looks like Ratchet's fin rot is all cleared up. Now to fast them until some of the bloating goes down some more. It's harder to tell with ratchet since he's always had a bit of a pot belly. He's got a squat body compared to everyone else and his top line is curved downward more. He's got a meaner look to him than most that I've seen.

I love your descriptions of your betta boys. Ratchet is a handsome guy but you're right, if I was a betta I probably wouldn't want to mess with him. I'm glad everyone's back to normal, grumpiness and all.

I caved on the fasting ealier today. Yorick and Moonshoes were back to their normal size so they each got 3 pellets. Ratchet still had his pot belly, but I was worried and only gave him 2 pellets. He's been all mopey today because I didn't feed him to his standards.

You sound like me. I'm trying to put my faaaaat cats on a diet but after two hours of them sitting and staring and meowing at me, I gave in and put the food back out. I'm gonna get a lecture from the vet again.
