yea .. cosplaying can add up a lot even for what seems to be a simple costume .. i've had a few friends that have entered in masquerade at conventions and have won first place prizes .. some prizes were monetary .. like 1000 gift card's to joanns (our local fabric store here) .. so i'm sure that helps out a lot

most people do it for the enjoyment of making the costume and dressing up on days that are not Halloween and to have fun .. they are not really in it to be competitive .. though there are always those few cosplayers that are in it to win it

@beat =D thanks .. it's hard to take pictures of flowers .. especially close up ^_^ .. that picture is one of my favorites too
