I agree. I usually don't change the water until they're a week old (from free swimming, not hatch).

if they've spawned and she released the egss, then its time to remove her from the tank, and start her healing process, everything is now done adn taken care of by the male.

I did i took the female out but now i am worried the almond leaf is gonna sink any way i can keep it floating? And what happens if it falls? Should i keep the light on or off?

I'd leave the ligt off so the male can be secure. Don't worry about the leaf.. He'll move the nest and eggs if he thinks its unsafe
