I'm 2 weeks into fish less cycling using pure ammonia. Today when I stuck the test tube into the tank to grab a water sample for testing I noticed a few bubbles form in the tank and realized I didn't rinse all of the soap off of my hand before sticking it in there. The bubbles disappeared pretty quickly and the water still looks clear in the tank.
Did I contaminate the tank? Should I start all over and empty the tank and rinse everything off? Should the filter and substrate be replaced? Or do I just need to do a water change now? Or do you think it's fine and I can just do a water change as planned at the end of the cycling?
Thanks for your help.
