My new Halfmoon

So here are the best three pictures on my brand new guy who was a replacement from my poor CT who died shortly after purchase. This new guy is stunning in color and seems to be a HM.

I could use name, color ideas, and tail confirmation

I read about your CT, I'm so sorry. This replacement seems very nice though! IT's hard to confirm a tail type without a flare shot. But very pretty.

Bettaluver - Thanks yeah I was a bit depressed my VT died like that but I am happy with this guy.

I haven't been able to get him to flare for me. He ignores the mirror I try to use, he is more interested in staring at himself in the flat glass rock in the bottom of his tank lol.

Sometimes they just don't like flaring. Is he very young? The fishy in my avatar isn't even 2" long, I just got him yesterday, and he won't flare at all.

He's very cute. Dont worry about the non-flaring. My betta fish is young too and he hasnt flared yet :)

Yeah it is a harsh world out there and those beautiful being all have to go eventually. I am sad that he went, but he had a good home for a few days and new someone cared.
I inherited a lovely VT the same day I got him who is very happy, and the day he died I had picked up my stunning little DTHM

Because of his death I got a replacement of very outstanding CT boy whose pictures will soon be posted(just got him today) and I picked up a VT/spade from walmart who needed my help. So as said as his death was to lose such a wonderful fish it did some good.
